1. The structure of the brushed motor is simple, the cost is low, and the easy failure is the wear of the carbon brush. Because brushless motors are removed and electronic commutation is used, the cost is more expensive, but from a mechanical point of view, brushless motors are almost maintenance-free.

2. Another advantage of brushless compared to brushed motors is low interference. There is no electric spark generated when brushed motors are running, and digital signal control greatly reduces interference to other equipment.

3. In terms of noise, the smooth-running brushless motor has no brushes, the friction force is greatly reduced during operation, the operation is smooth, and the noise will be much lower.

4. Regarding speed regulation, the essence of the control of brushed and brushless motors is to adjust the voltage, but the brushless DC adopts electronic commutation, uses a thyristor and other circuits to control, and realizes it through digital control. The brushed motor is to adjust the power supply voltage of the motor, changes the strength of the magnetic field generated by the electrodes, and achieves the purpose of changing the speed. When the brushless motor speed is adjusted, the power supply voltage of the motor remains unchanged, the control signal of the ESC is changed, and the switching time of the MOS tube is changed through the internal controller to achieve the purpose of speed change.
